So we're trying to go binky free,
does anyone have any good tips to give me? We had our date night tonight and our friends that watched BL forgot to give him his bink. He fussed for a few and went to sleep. So it got me thinking... now is the time. My idea is just cold turkey. He has his coveted blanket that probably is even more comforting than the bink. I guess we'll see. It's kind of exciting to be getting rid of the last "baby" thing. Even more ease in going places and less things to worry about. Now if I can just get him to not be allergic to dairy so I don't have to mix up any more soy formula...... does anyone know how to fix that one?

If he will understand throwing them away like a big boy you could do that, or you could just have them disappear during naptime and see what happens. You could just put him down with a bottle of Diet Coke. That would make him happy. No wait, that's me.
Good luck! We're making progress with ours... he didn't take Hailey's. He picked it up and stuck it in her mouth! :)
