So we're finally

home! It was really hard leaving my parents. I love them dearly and got really used to having them around all the time. The flights went well. BL really is a seasoned flyer and does such a good job which I am very grateful for.

It has been very strange coming back. Walking into my house just seemed odd. I'm still trying to recover from traveling home so it will be interesting to see where my energy level is going to be. I didn't talk too much about it but things were up and down while I was there. I feel like I have enough energy to do what I need to do which is good. Hopefully it will stay that way. BL has been sick today and it has resulted in a lazy day.

He's been really happy to be home and has played in his room with his trains for hours. He's still on east coast time apparently because he's waking up at 5:30! You better believe I tell BW to handle it and roll over! After being a single mom for so many weeks it's glad to have my husband back. BL really missed his dad and is so sad when he has to go to work.

The cruise was FABULOUS!!!! If you've never gone, plan one and go... WITHOUT the kids. The only thing we had to worry about was what excursions we wanted to do and where we wanted to eat. So I gained several pounds and I'm working on it, okay. back off....
The camera broke a couple of days before the cruise so I have no photographic evidence of how much fun we had.

BL is totally potty trained! After we got back from the cruise he got the poo part down and things have been pretty good since. He only has accidents if he's in pull ups. So now if we go somewhere and I worry about an accident I just put the pull up over his roos. It works really well. I was really expecting the worst with potty training but it ended up not being that bad. Even without help from BW.

This weekend we're off to a cabin up north for a family reunion. It will be good to be in cooler weather for a few days and then it's back to the flaming hot sandbox. Life goes on...
