I really feel like doing

this right about now...

Except if I did, it would cause lots of pain and probably put me into labor. I'm gonna hold off for now. In case you aren't picking up on it, I MADE IT! Today I am officially OFF bed rest. No, that doesn't mean I'm in a rush to get this little nugget out, it just means I'm super excited I can get out. I might have cheated a little bit this week and it's done SO much for my sanity. I've had BL home all week and I can't tell you how nice it's been. I'm thoroughly enjoying his last days as an only child. He's pretty happy to be home but he does miss his friends.

A big huge fat thank you goes to all of you who've been so extremely helpful in the past 9+ weeks! (Did 9 weeks really just go by that fast?) Hopefully they were fast for you too. It was really difficult for me to have BL gone so much but it was extremely comforting knowing that he was always well taken care of. We have been hugely blessed by all the service that has been poured out for us. There is no thank you big enough to express my gratitude. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can somehow pay these people back?

I have an OB appointment this afternoon. Maybe he will have a good solution for the stabbing pain at the bottom of my spine that gets so painful I can't walk. A solution other than enduring it until the baby comes.

We took a trip to Target the other day. Have I told you how NOT fun those motorized carts are? Oh and how not fun it is when your 3 year old insists that he needs to drive it? And when he actually lets you take over you start knocking over end caps? Add in an impatient husband who likes to speed shop and that will give you a good picture. Imagine it. If you aren't in pain you aren't imagining it right. The REAL point of the story is this... I was having BL make choices so he can be involved in the "getting ready for the baby" process. I told him to choose a sleep positioner for his brother and he said "NO! That's for a baby, not my brother!" This was the first time we realized "the baby" and "his brother" were not synonymous in his mind. We're working on that. I'm glad it happened in Target and not when he arrived to meet him in the hospital. He's not very accepting of new things so... we're working on it.

Hopefully I'll have something good to tell you after the OB appointment this afternoon. WOOHOO!

WOO HOOO!
Chocolate goes a long way ;)

Brother/baby: So true. It never occurred to me that that would be confusing.

And again,
WOO HOOO!!

You knocked over the endcaps?!?!? HAHAHA you should have let BL keep driving. Hopefully you can keep the nugget inside until you have decided on a name and BL understands that brother=baby. I'm excited for you!

Hey! I am constantly asking your SIL how you're doing - I hope she doesn't get annoyed with me. I would love to take you to lunch. When are you free? Hope you're doing well!
