the next couple of days of bed rest. A good friend let me borrow her book, Parenting the Ephraim's Child. I was going to type out a section of the book but you can find it in its entirety here.
If you know BL you know he's very strong-willed, emotional and driven. These characteristics make him difficult to parent but I know he's going to need those qualities in this lifetime for very good reasons. The strongest have been saved for this time for a reason. I'm looking forward to knowing how to parent him better and to help those attributes to become his strengths instead of making me crazy and getting upset at him.
I'm not very far in the book so I'm sure I'll have more on it later. In the meantime go get it and start reading!

That's a great perspective to keep in mind when they are really testing your patience. I'll go find it.
Alot of people have recommended that book to me. I need to read it!
