So everything was contingent on a test coming back negative. It didn't. In short the test predicts whether you'll have the baby in the next two weeks. If it's negative it's a 99.2% chance I won't have the baby. If it's positive it's only 16.7% chance that I will have the baby.
I'm guessing the positive number is low because there is a lot they can do to intervene and try to keep the baby in longer. Like my new meds and bed rest. The meds are doing a good job at slowing the contractions.
I don't get to come off of bed rest after all. I'm a little disappointed but I think I kind of expected it to turn out this way. That or I just have to keep doing what I've been doing and I've already done some mental preparation for the long haul.
You know what rocks? My OB called with the results. Not his nurse. Not some automated voice. My OB. Love him.

Bummer. But I got to tell you I'm excited to have BL over. He's such a sweetheart :)
Contractions. Just thinking about that makes me hurt all over.

I am glad you have someone so wonderful taking care of you, you deserve it! I am praying for you, your sanity and of course baby bumpkins! If anyone can do it, you can :) I truly believe it. I love you!
Hope all goes well with the delivery! On the plus side I'll just say..."Enjoy it while you can!" ...watch all the chick flicks you can and enjoy the rest b/c we all know how life just kicks back into gear when the little ones get here!! In all seriousness though, you're in our prayers and we love ya!!
